Meet Jenn Luczkowiak

Candidate for ISBA 3rd Vice President

Jenn Luczkowiak is serving as an elected member of the ISBA Board of Governors for Area II (Circuits 17, 19, 22) and the ISBA Assembly. She serves on the ISBA Scope and Correlation Committee and served as ISBA Secretary from 2025 - 26. In 2024, she was awarded with the ISBA Joseph R. Bartylak Memorial Legal Services Award. Prior to her term on the Board of Governors, she was an active member of the Women and the Law Committee and the Delivery of Legal Services Committee. She is serving, or has served, as Board Liaison to the following additional committees and sections: Cannabis Law Section (2026 - Present), Delivery of Legal Services Committee (2026 - Present), Women and the Law Committee (2026 - Present), Privacy and Information Security Section (2025 - Present), Government Lawyers Committee (2025 - 26), Illinois Bar Journal Editorial Board (2025 - 26), Family Law Section (2024 - 25), Law-Related Education for the Public Committee (2024 - 25), Judicial Advisory Polls Committee (2024 - 25).

Jenn’s career has been devoted to ensuring that low-income families, survivors of domestic violence, veterans, and seniors are able to access justice and protect their basic human needs. She is on the executive management team of Prairie State Legal Services (PSLS) as the Director of Resource Development. As such, she helps PSLS strive for high quality legal services for every client, every time. PSLS has over 100 lawyers serving clients in 36 counties of Illinois. She oversees PSLS’ annual revenue acquisition of $22 - 25M annually through grants and fundraising efforts from federal, state, and local governments, United Ways, foundations, and individual and corporate donors. Previously, Jenn served as Project Director of the Legal Help for Homeowners Project at PSLS, providing legal counsel and representation for homeowners and tenants facing foreclosure. Through this work, Jenn has gained a deep understanding of the needs of Illinois’ lawyers from the urban areas in and around Chicago, to some of the most rural areas in Illinois. Jenn began her career as an Equal Justice Works Fellow (funded by Greenberg Traurig, LLP) at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley serving homeless and runaway youth. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now University of California College of the Law, San Francisco). Jenn lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband and three children (ages 17, 14, and 10).
