As the world continues to change at an ever-increasing rate, we must work together to continue to evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of our current and future members. As your 3rd Vice President, I will commit to do the following:

• Increase Relationship and Connection Between Members.
  To grow ISBA’s membership, I am committed to breaking down barriers to membership and continuing to increase the value of membership so all lawyers can benefit from our association. Together, we can accomplish this by:
  • Promoting diversity
  • Focusing on leadership development
  • Increasing outreach to law schools and affiliate bar associations
• Improve Lawyer Health and Well-Being.
  Together, we can continue to encourage members to prioritize their health and well-being by providing:
  • High quality and engaging training related to improving mental and physical health
  • Access to services and programs that incentivize healthy habits.
• Champion Access to Justice Throughout Illinois.
  My career has been devoted to seeking justice on behalf of individuals and families who found themselves at risk of losing their housing, safety, or stability, but lacked the means to afford an attorney to help them. The need for these services far exceeds the availability of these services. We have a collective responsibility to ensure the integrity of our justice system by making legal services accessible to all. Together, we must continue to:
  • Increase opportunities for pro bono work and community service
  • Continue the discussion around providing access to justice for all residents of Illinois. Together, we need to continue to ask difficult questions like, “What does justice for all actually look like? How can we make this ideal a reality? Where do we find the resources?”
